Mind Blown
Upon making a Sam’s run over the weekend I came across their Tomahawk Steaks – And for ONLY $25.00 – WHAT? They’re over $100.00 in a restaurant. WINNING
Preparing a Tomahawk Steak seemed super daunting to me but for a $20.00 investment I decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING.
I started with an easy marinade – I didn’t measure anything but here’s what I used. Coconut Aminos (you can use Soy), Pineapple Juice, Honey, Red Wine Vinegar, Ginger Paste, Minced Fresh Garlic, Sesame Oil, Bourbon and Black Garlic Seasoning. I mixed it all together, put the Tomahawk in a zip top bag and poured the marinate in the bag, covering the steak. I let it marinate in the fridge for 3 hours then out in room temp for 1.5 hours. Remove from the marinade and pat dry then I added some S&P and a little bit of steak seasoning. Cooked it on a gas grill on indirect heat. Before cooking the steak I made a honey, red pepper, scallion butter. I froze it and as soon as the steak came off the grill I lathered it along the top of the steak, covered with foil and let rest – AMAZING!!!
I will be making this again – over and over and over
Enjoy!!!!

GOOD MORNING LOH family!!
Now look, having a pancake might be pushing the Whole30 “rules”. However, I’m far enough into eating Whole30 that in my mind it’s just another compliant ingredient meal!
Enjoy!
1 ripe banana
2 eggs
1/4 cups of almond flour
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
•In a glass measuring cup with a pour spout mash up the banana and mash it up really good trying to get as many lumps out
•Add in the 2 eggs, mix well into the mashed banana
•Add in the 1/4 almond flour, mix well into the banana and egg mixture
•Add 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon, mix well into the banana mixture
Heat a flat skillet on medium/high, add in 1 tbsp of ghee. Once the ghee is hot start to pour pancakes. You’ll need to make these in 2 batches. 3 in 1 batch and 2 in the second batch. Cook just like you would a regular pancake BUT, watch them closely, they burn easily because they’re primarily egg. You might want to turn down your pan heat once you get the pan hot and ready to roll!
I top with Trader Joe’s cashew butter, sliced almonds and unsweetened coconut flakes.
You could add blueberries to the mix or add any kind of Whole30 compliant toppings you’d like.
